The U.S. Embassy in Haiti is sounding the alarm once again — American citizens are being strongly advised to leave the country as soon as it is safe to do so. While domestic flights between Cap-Haitien and Les Cayes and Port-au-Prince have resumed, the situation on the ground remains unpredictable and dangerous due to gang violence and instability. 7 C U.S. government personnel are not authorized to fly in or out of Port-au-Prince, and the Embassy does not endorse any commercial or private carriers at this time.
