Canaan Gang Expands Control to Montrouis Under

The Canaan gang, led by Jeff Gwo Lwa, has taken control of Montrouis since October 17, 2025. According to the Saint-Marc police investigations unit, about twenty gang members, known as “Talibans,” have been deployed to install two new local leaders to replace Black and Ti Bab, who were killed last month. Authorities report the group is also preparing an offensive against Saint-Marc.
