Clashes Between Police and “Viv Ansanm”

heavy clashes erupted between Haitian police forces and the “Viv Ansanm” gang in Mirebalais and along the road to Lascahobas. Two police officers were injured—one shot in the wrist and another in the leg—while a BSAP agent was killed. In the Piton area, several civilians, including a 7-year-old child, were reported dead. Multiple gang members were also killed, according to preliminary reports.
